Based on the hydrology sample data of the long-term rainfall, runoff and sand of the represertive station in Ganjiang Basin, the effect of the sand changing law by mankind activity was studied. The sandchanging law and development situation of Ganjiang Basin was obtained. It can provide the scientific base forthe national economic construction such as soil and water conservation, flood control, navigation,irrigation,basin plan, river regulation, hydraulic engineering safe operation and the reasonable arrangment of sand stations.
