Abstract:Levee construction is related to national economic development and people's safety. The monitoring and safety maintenance technologies are constantly developing,but system monitoring and maintenance methods for levees need further research. This study is based on the Hexi Wannian Levee in the Liaofang Water Conservancy Project in Jiangxi Province. Based on the engineering point cloud monitoring data obtained by 3D laser scanning technology,the point cloud data processing theory is combined with the actual engineering monitoring method to analyze the displacement and settlement of the surface and deep soil,and compare the effectiveness and precision of the two. The results show that the point cloud method can overcome the shortcomings of traditional methods that represent regional changes with single point changes. The constructed model can fully display the shape of the embankment and provide reference for construction quality assessment and subsequent safe operation.
