By analyzing the current situation，transaction situation and existing problems of the water right market in Jiangxi Province，and combining the main forms of typical water right transactions in Jiangxi Province，the development direction and suggestions of the water right market in Jiangxi Province in the new stage are put forward，which not only provides a direction for the province to explore and promote the reform of the water right market，but also an important reference for the future reform of the water-rich areas in the South China.
