Jiangxi is a major agricultural province with excellent water resources.The preparation of “Irrigation Development Plan of Jiangxi Province” is of great significance for promoting modernization of agriculture and ensuring national food security.Based on a systematic analysis of the current status and challenges of irrigation development in Jiangxi，this study conducts a comprehensive assessment of soil and water resources and evaluates the potential for irrigation development.It puts forward the future of the province's irrigation development overall layout，the formulation of the development of irrigated area target，planning the construction and management of the main tasks，can provide overall guidance for the future of a certain period of time in the province's irrigation development goals．
