Concentrative and controllable high-pressure cut-off wall is a new type of high-pressure jet grouting construction method that combines long spiral drilling with traditional high-pressure jet grouting technology.Compared with traditional high-pressure jet grouting technology,it has stronger geological adaptability and more reliable wall quality.Compared with other technologies,it has obvious advantages in sandy gravel formations and narrow embankment top widths. In order to better solve the problems of deep sand and gravel layers,as well as the limited construction sites on the top of embankments in the Dongting lake area, this new construction method developed by Jiangxi Academy of Water Science and Engineering is introduced in the study.Aimed at further verifing the adaptability of the concentrative and controllable high-pressure cut-off wall in the Dongting lake area, this study provides technical basis for subsequent large-scale applications by obtaining key technical parameters. The results showed that compared with other traditional technologies, the cut-off wall constructed by this method does not have the quality defects such as forks, leakage jetting, sedimentation, and broken walls.Meanwhile,it also has the technical advantages of high quality assurance, relatively small width of work surface, strong adaptability, fast work efficiency, low cost, less discharge of slurry and slag,no risk of collapse of grooves and holes, which can be used and promoted in the Dongting lake area.
