The comprehensive implementation of the river and lake chief system has entered to a new stage of the construction of rivers and lakes’well-being. Its construction is an important support to strengthen the river and lake chief system，the inevitable requirement to promote the high-quality development of water conservancy，and the best response to the people's yearning for a better life. From the perspective of grassroots water conservancy workers，this paper discusses the construction practice of rivers and lakes’well-being in Yudu county of Jiangxi province，introduces the experience and measures of promoting the high-quality construction of rivers and lakes’well-being with the help of river chief system，and finally puts forward suggestions based on the current situation.
