Due to the continuous high temperature and little rain，Jiangxi experienced the rare continuous droughts in summer，autumn and winter in 2022，which was the worst drought since the complete record from 1961. It had a great impact on people's lives，social production and ecological environment.Through reviewing the characteristics and impacts of the droughts in Jiangxi in 2022，this paper summarizes the main methods and analyzes the weaknesses of responsing to the droughts，and puts forward some thoughts on dealing with drought disaster events.
