On the basis of current investigation，this paper analyzes on the problems existing in the management of dike construction and operation in Jiangxi province，and puts forward some countermeasures and considerations for the highquality development of dike management in the new stage from the aspects of strengthening the implementation of management responsibility，the quality and efficiency of management assessment，the innovation of management means，the construction of green ecology，and the guarantee of laws and regulations.
