The comprehensive reform of agricultural water prices is an important method to ensure the safety of food and water,push forward the rural vitalization,and accelerate the development of agricultural and rural modernization.The Ganfu plain irrigation district insists on the management and protection of the positive and long-term operation of water conservancy projects as the core,the formation mechanism of water price as the basis,the construction of a precise measurement system and efficient water-saving in agriculture as the foundation,to promote the allocation and transfer of agricultural and non-agricultural water consumption in the irrigation districts,and to explore the way to form a comprehensive reform of agricultural water prices with unique characteristics of large-scale irrigation districts.
