This study is based on the survey results of the spillway site,such as geological mapping,high density resistivity method,shallow seismic reflection wave method,drilling and so on.Combined with the terrain conditions,the paper makes comprehensive analysis on the relationship between karst types,karst and rock,the relationship between karst and geological structure,karst systems and its combination relationship,karst and karst seepage problems.Finally,it finds out the basic characteristics of karst distribution and development degree in the engineering area,providing a scientific basis for the anti-seepage treatment of the spillway．
