This paper puts forward the train of thought and implementation strategy to realize the modernization of water conservancy in Jiangxi province，by considering the present situation and existing problems of water conservancy in Jiangxi province and taking the new way of water management of general secretary Xi Jinping in the new age as the benchmark.Specifically，it needs to take the construction of water ecological civilization as the main line of development，vigorously carry out four major projects:flood control safety，water supply security，ecological security and beautiful rural construction.It also needs to strengthen supervision over water resources，rivers and lakes，soil and water conservation，and the construction market of water conservancy.Meanwhile，it needs to optimize the construction of water conservancy project management，monitoring and early warning systems，smart water conservancy，and hightechnology platforms， and enhance law guarantee， comprehensive supervision， the capability of reform and innovation，and the influence of water culture，and reach the leap development of water conservancy in high standard.Finally，it will provide strong support for a modern socialist country in all aspects.
