Abstract:The “Pyramid” flexible ecological slope protection technology,due to its advantages in saving energy,reducing emission,preserving eco-system,protecting environment and greening landscaping,has been successfully applied in slopes of transportation,water engineering and municipal projects.This paper investigated and summarized the physical and mechanical properties of “Pyramid” eco-bag,the pattern of slope protection structure,the stability of slope protection,the process and requirements of construction and greening as well as the economic efficiency of this technology.By stacking eco-bags and anchoring long bags respectively to demonstrate its application in the remediation of small to medium sized river bank,it shows promising effect in slope protecting and ecological greening after withstanding two months of flood flushing and going through careful monitoring and analysis.The promotion of this technology in river bank remediation has positive meanings for improving ecological management level of river bank and protecting ecological health of waterways.
