The roles of Ji'an Hydrology Bureau in flood control and drainage, water supply, water resources investigation and evaluation, as well as protection of water environment and water ecology were summarized in this paper. Inspirited from the practice, suggestions on Speeding up the development of urban hydrology were proposed.
