This paper shows a typical danger case happened in an embankment in Poyang Lake region, analyzes its causes and points out the problems existed in the treatment scheme in specific to the treatment process and treatment measure. Suggestions are given towards flood control and rescue in embankments in Poyang Lake region, hoping to provide some reference for future work.
