Intelligent water gate monitoring can be implemented by digital technology, with which data transmission, remote monitoring and operation can be achieved and time and money can be saved. Based on PLC control system ,this paper proposes and designs a central monitoring station and a number of auxiliary control stations using ZigBee intelligent measurement and control module for wireless connection to reach the goal of intelligent operation of water gate.
