Through the case analysis about adjustment estimation of a reservoir project which is a strengthened reservoir,this paper truly reflected the real investment of the project.The main reasons of budgetary overrun are compensation changes for land acquisition and design alterations. This paper provides some advices for investment control on this engineering and reference for adjustment estimation compilation in water conservancy and hydropower projects in the future.
