A kind of special soil,which is located in the territory of Dongxiang County in Jiangxi province and encountered in a project,was compared with the conventional soil.Based on the test data,the physical properties,the mechanical properties,the water chemical properties of this soil and soil soluble salt composition and the content of organic matter were analyzed.This paper analyzes the reasons for the special soil and the engineering characteristics.The treatment suggestion was proposed in this paper.It can be referred for similar projects.
