By comparing and selecting the dam site and dam type schemes for the Jiangxia Reservoir Project in Jiangxi Province,this study proposes a self compacting stone filled concrete gravity dam as the recommended scheme.This scheme combines the advantages of the rock mass structure and the characteristics of self compacting concrete technology,and has significant comprehensive benefits such as hydration heat control ability,construction efficiency improvement,and cost savings.By conducting structural design of the cross-section,dam body joints,and anti-seepage of the self-compacting rock-filled concrete gravity dam,as well as analyzing the key issues such as self-compacting concrete mix ratio tests,soft rock foundation treatment,and rockfill material requirements,a suitable design scheme for the self-compacting stone-filled concrete gravity dam for this project is obtained.The research results provide technical solutions for the construction of gravity dams under similar conditions and have important engineering application value.
