This study analyzes the current matching degree of agricultural land and water resources in Yongfeng County, aiming to optimize the allocation of local agricultural water-land resources and enhance agricultural production efficiency.Based on field research data collected in Yongfeng County in 2024,the matching degree is evaluated by calculating the Gini coefficient,water-land resource matching coefficient, and water use efficiency. The results indicate that the Gini coefficient for the matching between agricultural water consumption and cultivated land resources is 0.005 6.Guanshan forestry center has the highest water-land resource matching coefficient of 2.08,while Shangxi township has the lowest value of 0.51.The matching coefficients of most other townships vary from 0.51 to 0.58,indicating a relatively balanced spatial distribution of agricultural land and water resources. The average irrigation area coverage rate is 26.70%,and the average storage-replenishment index is 0.46.Analysis of local water resource conditions reveals that local reservoirs and mountain ponds have insufficient water storage capacity with limited role in agricultural irrigation. It is recommended to scientifically and rationally plan the allocation of water-land resource to improve the irrigation efficiency.
